Polish 50-60's design.

I've always had a thing for 50 and 60's design. I guess it's because of grandparents house where I grew up among all the cool stuff. Eating dinner by a mobile bar with my cousin is one of a few memories that I treasure. 

These featured objects are from the most interesting period in Polish design and arts. Its aesthetics is derived from Alvar Aalto, Eero Saarinen and of course Charles and Ray Eames. Fascination with new materials was a significant trend of the era. Anything modern was desirable. MNW

Odkąd pamiętam design lat 50-60 był moim ulubionym. Powodem tego jest zapewne mieszkanie moich dziadków, w którym dorastałam pośród wielu świetnych przedmiotów. Obiad przy składanym mobilnym barku to jedno z moich słodkich wspomnień. 
Na załączonych zdjęciach znajdują się wytwory najbardziej interesującego okresu polskiego designu i sztuki użytkowej. Estetyka epoki wywodziła się od stylu Alvara Aalto, Eero Saarinena czy Charles'a i Ray Eamsów. Istotną tendencją była fascynacja nowymi materiałami. Nowoczesność była mocno pożądana.
